So this is what we came up with:
1. Turn off lights
2. Before turning on AC, turn on fans and open windows
3. Stay hydrated – use your reusable water bottles!
4. Embrace the perspiration!
5. Stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day – minimize activity!
6. Use sunscreen that is lotion based, instead of in the aerosol spray can
7. Wear light colored clothes

Welcome to Green Daze
Dearest Environmentally-savvy Reader,
Perhaps you are sitting behind your keyboard wondering, "What is this 'Green Daze'?"
Well, silly person, Green Daze is a blog. Obviously.
More specifically, it is the brain child of students of the Bryn Mawr School, who wish to do their part in the fight against environmental devastation and raise awareness about the plethora of fantastic causes on the web.
Global climate change and melting poles probably don't affect your daily life, they certainly don't affect ours. This blog is an attempt to remind you, and ourselves, that we all have to do our part to protect this world that has protected us for so long.
Life as we have known it is changing, and the actions of the whole human race have played no small part, yet we seem content to merely sit by and brush off the urgent pleas of scientists and environmentalists around the globe.
We may not be discovering alternate energy sources or reversing global warming, but we are doing our part, however small, to motivate some change.
And who knows? We're just kids. Who's to say that one of us won't be the one to end this crisis? The only way to guarantee we won't is by doing nothing.
Much love,
The Green Squad
